Contender is being built as a live auction house for startups. This site lets you express interest in selling, buying or both. It is operated by Theodore Thornton-Brown (Contender).

Joining the waitlist

Joining is free and does not create an auction account, place a bid, reserve a listing or commit you to an acquisition. It does not guarantee access, acceptance, buyers or a sale price. You can request removal at any time through the privacy and contact form.

The experience preview

The business, bids and timing shown in the preview are fictional examples. No real bid, payment or transfer takes place. A winning bid and a completed acquisition are separate steps.

Before auctions open

Final eligibility, fees, bidder checks, transaction terms and handover requirements will be shared before real bidding opens. The planned features shown here may change as the product is developed. No launch date has been announced.
