This notice covers the Contender pre-launch waitlist, operated by Theodore Thornton-Brown (Contender) at @ContenderFun. It covers this waitlist only, not a future trading account. You can contact the team about your data using the form below.

What we collect

Your email address, your consent, and your sport preference if you choose one. We also save a submission timestamp and simple campaign labels, such as whether you arrived from an X campaign, when supplied in the link. We don’t ask for a wallet address, password, phone number or payment.

Why we collect it

With your consent, we use your email for Contender product reveals and early-access news. Your sport preference helps us make those updates relevant. Joining does not guarantee an invitation or any financial benefit. We don’t sell the waitlist or use it for third-party marketing.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored using Netlify Forms and are accessible to the Contender team through its hosting account. Netlify may process technical information, including IP addresses and browser details, for hosting, security and spam prevention. See Netlify’s privacy policy for its processing and international transfer information. This page does not install advertising pixels or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We plan to retain waitlist information for up to six months from signup, or until you ask us to remove it. We will ask again before using it for a different purpose. Minimal records of opt-out requests may be retained so we can avoid contacting you again.

Manage your updates

You can withdraw consent, request deletion, ask for a copy of your information, or correct it using this form. Requests are reviewed by the team; submitting one does not instantly delete a record. We may need to verify that the email address belongs to you. Every marketing email must also include an opt-out route. You can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
